This document sets out the general terms and conditions governing the use of the CiaoBooking WebApp by users.
For the purpose of understanding and accepting these terms and conditions, the following terms, whether singular or plural, shall have the following meaning:
Use of the Application implies acceptance of these Conditions by the User. If the User does not intend to accept the Conditions and/or any other legal notices or published information, they must not use the Application or related services.
The Conditions may be modified at any time. Changes will become effective upon their publication within the Application.
Before using the Application, the User must read the Conditions carefully and save or print them for future reference.
The Owner reserves the right to modify the graphical interface, contents, organization, functionalities, and management aspects of the Application at its discretion, providing Users with any necessary instructions.
The Application is provided “as is” and “as available.” The Owner makes no express or implied warranties regarding the Application, including that it will meet Users' needs or be free from interruptions, errors, viruses, or bugs.
The Owner will make every effort to keep the Application available 24 hours a day but shall not be liable if it is unavailable for any reason beyond their control. Access may be suspended without notice for maintenance, repairs, or force majeure events.
The Owner shall not be liable to the User, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, for problems or malfunctions beyond their control.
The Owner shall not be responsible for damages, losses, or costs suffered by the User due to causes not attributable to the Owner.
The Owner assumes no responsibility for the fraudulent or illegal use of credit cards or payment methods by third parties.

In any case, the Owner’s liability shall not exceed the annual fee paid by the User.
The Owner shall not be liable for failure or delay in fulfilling obligations due to force majeure or events beyond their control.
The Owner’s obligations will be suspended during such events, and they will seek solutions to resume services.
The Application may contain links to third-party websites or applications. The Owner does not control such sites and is not responsible for their content.
Where third-party services are offered through links, their terms and conditions apply, and the Owner assumes no responsibility.
The accommodation’s representative is responsible for entering data online (rates, booking hours, etc.). Access to the management system is available 24/7 via internet, depending on the internet provider’s service.
Username and password are chosen by the accommodation representative and must be kept confidential.
No payment is made at the time of online booking. The credit card is used only as a guarantee. Its validity is verified using the Luhn algorithm. Responsibility for customer credit card data subsequently lies with the accommodation provider.
Despite the use of reliable technologies by CiaoBooking, the accommodation provider must verify the updates and alignment on connected portals.
CiaoBooking is not responsible for overbookings, missed updates, or lost revenues.
CiaoBooking provides services for the creation and sending of guest registration documents to the State Police portal, ISTAT data, and Telematic Receipts. Due to regulatory changes, timely delivery cannot be guaranteed. The user releases CiaoBooking from liability for incorrect data transmissions.
In accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), personal data will be processed in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

These Conditions are governed by Italian law. For any disputes, the court where the Owner is based shall have jurisdiction.
